How to buy jewelry without asking her size

You want to buy her a ring without spoiling the surprise. We get this question 5–10 times a day.

Here are three ways:

1. Borrow a ring she already wears

Take it to a jeweler — they'll size it in 60 seconds. Put it back before she notices.

2. Trace it on paper

Lay one of her rings on a piece of paper, trace the inner circle in pencil, photograph and email us. We'll size from the photo (yes, really).

3. Ask her best friend

Always works. Best friends know.
